Top Poster Prize for ChemE Student

ZulianiCongratulations to PhD student Jocelyn Zuliani who is part of the Green Technology Group! She recently received top honours at the U of T Institute for Sustainable Energy's annual research symposium, taking home one of three $1000 prizes for best poster.

Her poster "Helping to Green the Canadian Oil Sands: from Oil Sands By-Product to Green Energy Storage" was co-authored with Donald Kirk, Charles Jia and Shitang Tong and was selected from among 50 submissions by the Institute's Industry Board of Advisors.

Women in Engineering Mentorship Initiative

The Ontario Public Service Women in Engineering Initiative (WEMI) is a volunteer program that provides opportunities for women engineering students enrolled in Year 2 or higher of an accredited engineering program in Ontario to be mentored by women engineers working in the Ontario Public Service.
