The Hatchery Speaker Series on Tue, Nov 8

On Tuesday, November 8 from 12-2pm in SF1105, Iyiope Jibodu (ChemE 0T9) will present. Iyiope is the owner of Brecklinge Corp, where he has served as the Vice President of Operations since 2009. Breklinge Corp provides management consultancy services in the area of strategic communication, client data management and marketing to SMEs via the HD Printing Press division to which Iyiope is Director of Operations. HD Printing Press specializes in print media and proprietary web-to-print technologies and applications. Engineering Entrepreneurship Speaker Series on Wed, Nov 9

On Wednesday, November 9 from 5-6pm in SF1105, Danish Yusuf will present. Danish is a former leader in McKinsey’s Digital Insurance practice, supporting insurance clients globally on defining their digital strategy. Prior to McKinsey, Danish was a software architect and developer at IBM Canada, covering everything from JCL/PL1 to Java and web development. Danish earned a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering from University of Toronto, and has an MBA from Harvard Business School. Translational Biology & Engineering Program on Thu, Nov 10

CPI Seminar Series on Fri, Nov 11

On Friday, November 11 from 11am to 12pm in SF1105, Professor Min Dong from the University of Ontario Institute of Technology will present. Her talk is entitled, Real-time Residential Energy Storage Management and Load Scheduling with Renewable Integration.

Mirexus Biotechnologies seeking Research Associate

Mirexus Biotechnologies Inc. is seeking a Research Associate to join its science team for projects exploring new modifications and applications of glycogen nanoparticles. The individual will primarily be responsible to perform lab scale chemical modifications and analyses of polysaccharides under the supervision of senior staff members.
