ChemE Students Shine at CSChE Conference

Congratulations to undergraduate students Manyi Zhao, Odo Wong, Jieyu Wu and Yinan Xu! They were awarded prizes in the Robert G. Auld Technical Paper competition at this year's CSChE Conference in Niagara Falls, Ont. The students presented research done under the supervision of Prof. Cathy Chin. This year, our CSChE student chapter was able to send 41 ChemE students to the conference.

Student Seminar: Finance Your Eduction

The Chemical Engineering Leadership Working Group will host its annual Finance Your Education event on Thurs, Oct 30, 2014, 12PM - 1PM, BA1130. This session will be presented by Pierina Filiponne from the Scholarship and Financial Aid office and is an excellent opportunity to learn how to make yourself eligible for scholarships and bursaries, and to learn more about the importance of your On-line Engineering Portfolio.

2015 Administrative Staff Awards -- Call for Nominations

The Faculty is now accepting nominations for the 2015 Administrative Staff Awards. All administrative and technical staff are eligible for the Agnes Kaneko Citizenship Award; the Harpreet Dhariwal Emerging Leader Award; the Influential Leader Award; the Innovation Award; and the Quality of Student Experience Award. Anyone may nominate a candidate.

Please download the application package for details on each award. The deadline for receipt of nominations is Jan 30, 2015.
