Molly Shoichet on turning research into clinical treatment
In a recent article published by the Toronto Star, Molly Shoichet talked about the long process of turning scientific breakthroughs into clinical treatment available to patients. “Studies like mine often produce a lot of hope, but also frustration that the ‘product’ is not available,” she says. “So why does it take so long for a study like mine to turn into a clinical treatment?” Read the full story to find out.
CEGSA Mediterranean Lunch on Thu, Aug 25
CEGSA will be hosting its Mediterranean Lunch on Thursday, August
25. The event will take place in the grad common room (WB247) starting at 12:30pm. Bring your appetite, and reusable plates and utensils to have a taste
of authentic Mediterranean cuisine. The lunch is a charity event - suggested donation is $3+. All proceeds will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross.
