ChemE Prof Wins 2015 Hatch Innovation Award

Professor Milica Radisic is the 2015 winner of the Hatch Innovation Award sponsored by the Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering. The award is presented to an individual, who has not reached the age of 40, for distinguished contribution to the field of chemical engineering while working in Canada. Read more.

New Recipient of Student Discovery Award

Suraj Persaud, supervised by Professor Roger Newman, has been approved for the PhD Student Discovery Award. This distinction recognizes publications authored/co-authored by the student, with at least one first-authored paper per year in the program at the time of his/her Departmental Oral.

CEGSA Ice Cream Social

CEGSA is hosting a "make your own" Ice Cream Social on Friday, August 7 during Fika from 2:30-3:30pm in the grad common room (WB 247).

ChemE First Year Orientation on Wednesday, September 9

The department will be hosting its annual first year orientation session and lunch on Wednesday, September 9 from 12-2pm. If you're a professor or staff member, please join us for the intro session in WB116 from 12-12:30pm and then lunch in the undergrad common room from 12:30-2pm. RSVP to jennifer.hsu@utoronto.ca and don't forget to add the event to your calendar. Once you RSVP, more details will be sent to you closer to the event date.

Wednesday, September 16 - Summer session grades released for viewing by students on Student Web Services (ROSI)

Friday, September 18 - Registration for Fall session ends; after this date, a late registration fee will be applied

Monday, September 28 - Last day to add a full year or Fall session courses
