MaRS Innovation Call for Proposals - Medical Sciences Proof-of-Principle
(MSc PoP)

MaRS Innovation is pleased to present this new Call for Applications:  Commercializing Life Sciences and Medical Technology.  The Medical Sciences Proof-of-Principle (MSc PoP) program, administered by Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE), is a province-wide initiative with MaRS Innovation accepting applications from our member institutions within the MI Technology Transfer Network.  Please note the following for applications within the MI community:

  • Applicants and/or startups can apply for up to $70,000 per project and must have a cash match from a new industry partner.
  • For MScPoP program guidelines, click here. A copy of the Proposal Questions is available to download.
  • MI member institution applications must be submitted to Jackie Terry at jterry@marsinnovation.com by Thursday, July 30, 2015.  MaRS Innovation will formally submit applications on behalf of their member institutions and the startup companies through OCE’s online application system.
  • Applications will be pre-screened by an External Review Panel.
  • Selected applicants will be invited for in-person presentations to the External Review Panel who will make a recommendation to the OCE Internal Review Panel for funding decisions.
