Solmaz Tabtabaei, a PhD Candidate from Professor Diosady's group, won the Industrial Oil Products Division Student Excellence Award during the 104th AOCS Annual Meeting & Expo that took place April 28-May 1 at the Palais des congres, Montreal, QC.

Special FIKA Friday: Grad Info Session
On Friday, June 21 from 2:30-3:30pm in the Graduate Common Room (WB247) the Grad Office will be hosting an important info session related to grad studies.

Heffernan Commercialization Fellowship
This is an exciting opportunity for a faculty member to nominate an entrepreneurial PhD or MASc recent graduate for a $32,000 one-year fellowship, with the winning fellow then becoming principal of their newly own created company. CEGSA's Spring Formal: Last Day to Buy Tickets

Today is the LAST DAY that FIKA will be selling Semi-Formal Tickets! Tickets will be available by chasing down Parthiv after today! So come out and buy them before they are gone!!!!!

CEGSA Softball

It's softball time again. CEGSA is looking for enthusiastic and committed players. Games will be played in the back and front campus, weekdays at 5pm or 6:30 pm. The season will start first week of June! If you are interested in playing, send an email to igor.guzman@mail.utoronto.ca by Friday, May 31 with your name and student number. Fee per player is $5, and the season has 9 games... what a deal!
