Elizabeth Edwards wins a Killam Prize
Professor Elizabeth Edwards (ChemE) has been named among this year’s Killam Prize winners. Presented by the Canada Council for the Arts, the awards honour eminent Canadian scholars and scientists actively engaged in research. Read more.
Research program led by Milica Radisic receives CREATE grant
A collaborative research program led by Professor Milica Radisic (IBBME, ChemE) has received a major grant from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council. Through the Collaborative Research and Training Experience (CREATE) grant, worth $1.65 million over six years, Professor Radisic’s research program will help train a new generation of experts in leading-edge treatments for disease based on lab-grown human tissues. Sounds of Science: Music, Technology, Medicine
On Tuesday, May 3 the Faculty of Music in conjunction with Science & Engineering Engagement will be hosting a showcase of music and scientific breakthroughs at the Faculty of Music. The Life Sciences Career Development Society's 10th Annual Career Day

The date for GRD/IOH 2017 has been set for Friday, February 24, 2017. This year, 27 professors attended GRD/IOH 2016 and 75 grad students participate as volunteers. Let's beat these numbers for next year!
