Iron Ring Party Tomorrow! All Profs Invited!

On Saturday, March 5 from 4-6:30pm at the Supermarket (268 Augusta Ave in Kensington Market), fourth-year undergrads will be celebrating their Iron Ring achievements. Professors are welcome to join in the festivities.

Milica Radisic to Appear on InnerSpace

On Tuesday, March 8 at 6pm and 11pm, Professor Milica Radisic (ChemE, IBBME) will appear on InnerSpace on the Space Channel. Last week Professor Radisic's lab was featured in CHEM ENG NEWS for engineering heart cells that pulse together in a petri dish allowing drug companies to test their products for dangerous side effects outside of the human body. Congratulations to Professor Radisic and her team for all their great work!

Elodie Passeport Receives NSERC Strategic Partnership Grant

On Tuesday, March 1, NSERC announced six Strategic Partnership Grants to help U of T engineers address some of the greatest challenges facing Canada and the world. In total, the program invested more than $3.2 million in U of T Engineering and more than $5.3 million across the entire University. Professor Elodie Passeport (ChemE, CivE) received one of the six grants for her Smarter Stormwater Management project. Read more.
