U of T Engineering Leads Ontario in Female Enrollment

Our Faculty is celebrating the enrollment of the highest number of female students in our history. Women represent 30.6 per cent of the current first year class, higher than any other engineering school in Ontario.

ChemE is no stranger to trailblazing women engineers. Professor Emerita Mary Jane Phillips was one of the first women to join the Faculty in 1964. See a timeline of Women in U of T Engineering.
