Graditude Dodgeball - ChemE vs MSE

graditude dodgeball

On Thursday, January 28, students from ChemE and MSE hosted their first Graditude event for the 2015-16 academic year. The friendly competition resulted in a tie with both groups winning four matches each. To date, ChemE students have raised over $700 for the 2015-16 Graditude Campaign and are holding steady in first place for highest departmental-dollar raised. Supporting the students yesterday through his participation was Grant Allen (ChemE Professor and Chair).

Three Industry Professionals Leading U of T Engineering Courses

For Randy Sinukoff (ChemE 8T2, MASc 8T4), the best part of being a course instructor is watching new understanding take root. “I love it when the light goes on in someone’s head,” he says. “I love it when they discover something they never thought of before, or realize something that they can apply to their own life and work.” Sinukoff is a Senior Associate at Stantec Consulting Ltd. and is also the instructor for CHE1431H Environmental Auditing, a Master of Engineering course for full-time and part-time graduate students. He is one of a number of sessional lecturers who work full-time in industry and make time to offer their expertise to students at U of T Engineering. Read more about Sinukoff and two other industry professionals.

Meet Seven Student Interns from U of T Engineering

Internships are one of the many ways U of T Engineering maintains strong relationships with its numerous industry partners. Currently, a record 782 undergraduate students are spending a year or more working with companies, governments or research institutions around the world as part of the Professional Experience Year (PEY) program. The optional paid internship program is the largest of its kind in Canada. Meet seven interns from our Faculty (including two from ChemE).
